Wali wrote a new blog: "Anti vs. Pro".I believe that achieving a goal is all in how you view it. If you don't like being broke all the time. Don't be Anti-"poor" be Pro-"rich". If you're depressed, try to be Pro-"happy" not Anti-"sad". Looking for that special someone? Anti-"single" ...

Wali wrote a new blog: "If Not For You...".Where would we be if Beethoven said, "I have these songs in my head but I don't think people want to hear them". Or if Louis Pasteur said, "Why doesn't someone do something about milk tasting so funny?" Or lucille ball said, "I can't do ...

Wali wrote a new blog: "That Certain Person...".There's that certain person. You see them everyday. You don't know his or her name. You don't know his or her background. You really don't know the specifics about them at all. But for some reason he or she has your attention. It might be the way ...

Wali wrote a new blog: "Celebrate Good Times...".Why do we wait for something "big" to happen in order to celebrate? If you keep that up, you're going to miss out on great opportunities to celebrate. Celebrate that you're alive. Celebrate the fact that it's just an ordinary day. Celebrate your ...

Wali wrote a new blog: "Beginner's Luck? No Such Thing...".Ever notice how people win at gambling or a sport they try for the first time. Some will call that "Beginner's Luck". by Tara 6 months agoOn more side note.....also I think location is key....I've met my male buddies when visiting a church, on a random bus to the Shenzhen border, have language issues at the bank, on the MTR.....never Lan Kwai Fong..lol! It was all very random...never seeking....also learning the language and getting into the culture is helpful.....I'm getting off my box now :-)

by Tara 6 months agoHi Wali, that is a great question about the dating scene here.....I really think it depends on personality and being open-minded. For Afr-Am ladies, there seems to be no shortage of African men ready to marry, get down or whatever else but I've had some encounters/dates with local Chinese men (watch out now), Indians and Caucasians. I'm open to dating outside my race so I've had some bonding experiences while here in HK. One must step out the box :-)
